I know that you shouldn't workout every day because you don't give your muscles time to recover. That might go for jogging on the treadmill as well but is it okay to walk 30 mins everyday? Should I walk longer than that?I don't know how tall I am, maybe 6,0? and I weigh 183. Someone told me this is an okay weight for my height but my stomach tells me otherwise. Any suggestions? Btw, I've been dieting.Yeah I'm pretty sure i'll stick to eating healthy the rest of my life. I don't even really crave greasy sugary foods anymore and the healthy foods are starting to taste better. I just want to know if i was walking the treadmill long enough? I switch between 2 3 mph when i'm on it.
How long should I run on the treadmill?
I just joined the gym. Ive went twice and I have got on the treadmill for a hour each time at 3.5mph. Am I over doing it starting out? I am really out of shape have never exercised in my life and smoked for 10 years I quit two years ago tho I dont really feel out of breath on the treadmill, But when i'm finished I have to sit down and chill for about 5 min because i'm a little dizzy. I want to get fit and lose weight but want to make sure im not going at it to hard too fast. Any advice will be appreciated. I am 27 years old and i'm 5" 9 and weigh 190.I will be going to the gym 5 days a week, And im also watching what I eat and eating healthier as well.

I've been walking on the treadmill for 3 days now. I vary from 3 to 3.6 miles per hour at an incline of 1. Will this help me lose belly fat? And how much belly fat will I lose in a month if I keep this up? I don't play sports and I can't get into one because I am moving this summer. The only sport I even like is Tennis. But anyways ... For a while now I have been saving up for either a cross trainer or treadmill. I really want to loose some weight and tone my body. I think I am more considering buying a cross trainer than a treadmill because I feel it would be more beneficial for what I want to do. I'm pathetic. I see people going 3 6 miles on a treadmill, and I'm over here almost passing out at 1. I go at 3 miles per hour at an incline of 6 out of 10. Then change it to 4mph and incline 5 out of 10. How do those people go so long? How can I burn more calories like them without passing out? I've been trying to for the past 2 months and can't ever go more than a mile.
